THEMATIC EVENING WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA IN MONTENEGRO

Montenegro’s entry into the EU will have as a consequence a greater interest for Montenegro, especially for Podgorica, because EU citizens will want to see the capital of a future new member, said Croatian Ambassador Veselko Grubišić. The path towards the European Union and NATO was a catalyst for faster reforms in Croatia, Grubišić said at the thematic evening of the Republic of Croatia –“accession, membership and future challenges in the European Union”, held tonight in the hall of the Assembly of the Capital City.

As the main benefits of Croatia’s entry into the EU, he emphasized “the growth of tourism, the development of agriculture, and the increase in industrial production.”Ambassador Grubišić responded to numerous questions of the Montenegrin Pan-European Union Youth, as well as from guests. The facilitator of the event was prof. dr Gordana Đurović, President of the Montenegrin Pan-European Union, and this was the first in the cycle of planned talks on the topic of European integration with diplomatic representatives from European countries.
