The Montenegrin Pan-European Union (MPEU) participated in the international conference “Challenges of the EU and the Enlargement Process” held in the Armed Forces House in Sarajevo in the organization of the Pan-European Organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The MPEU delegation included prof. dr Gordana Djurovic (President of the MPEU), Milica Muhadinovic, MSc (President of the MPEU Youth), and Teodora Ladjic, MSc (MPEU Project Manager and Secretary of the MPEU Youth).
The conference was marked with discussions by European integration experts and representatives of Pan-European organizations Youth. The conference was concluded with the adoption of the Declaration that stressed the current state of the EU, its future and the European path of the countries of Southeast Europe. Strengthening regional co-operation and the role of the Berlin Process were one of the topics of the conference, highlighting the importance of the integration of Southeast European countries aspiring to EU membership. A key message from this international conference in Sarajevo was also sent regarding the necessity of integrating Southeast European countries into the European Union in order to ensure stability, peace and prosperity on the old continent.
