Delegation of the Montenegrin Pan-European Union participated in the conference held in Austria under the project “Joint Citizens’ Forces – Common European Future” on the topic “The Future of Europe: European Identity and the EU Political Landscape”, in the period 15-17 February 2019.
Mr Rajko Uskokovic, the Vice-president of the MPEU, addressed the participants in the bloc dedicated to the future of Europe and presented the perspective of Montenegro on the road to full fledged membership in the European Union, while the MPEU project manager, Ms Teodora Lađić, moderated the panel entitled “More European Integration for less Euro-skepticism”. Also, the MPEU members Mr Petar Raičević and Mr Radovan Ognjenović were present on the conference.
The conference was organized by the Paneuropa Austria and Paneuropa Slovenia with partners on the project.
The aim of the project is to attract and engage European citizens and civil society organisations in structural dialogue with EU policy and decision makers on how to reduce Euro-skepticism and spread the realization that European integration is still necessary. The JOCICEF project is funded by the EU through the platform Europe for citizens.
