REGAINING OF EUROPE: Challenges and Dangers
In the Hungarian city of Vac, near Budapest, the international conference of the Pan-European Union was held dedicated to the acute crisis and the global megatrends that are causing it, including migration in Europe. The ability of the European Union to respond to challenges and dangers and to preserve the democratic values of peace and freedom and unity were in the focus of the conference discussion.
In order to end the crisis, it is necessary to rebuild and re-shape European unity and cooperation through solidarity and open dialogue; political actors need to show their personal example of excellence – are some of the most important conclusions of the conference. Conferences that deal with these issues can give stimulus to this process.
