His Excellency, Ambassador of the Republic of France to Montenegro Christian Thimonier visited the Montenegrin Pan-European Union today.
The first visit to civil society organizations N.E. Mr. Christian Thimonier did to the Montenegrin Pan-European Union, member orgnization of the International Pan-European Union, the oldest Pan-European organisation in Europe.
Beside the ambassador, the meeting was attended by the Counselor of the Embassy and the Director of the French Institute in Montenegro, Laurent Goncalves. On behalf of the MPEU, the meeting was attended by the President of the MPEU, prof. Gordana Djurovic, and the Vice-President, Rajko Uskokovic.
At the meeting, mutual readiness was expressed for cooperation in the area of European integration processes and green agenda of Montenegro, which are of special importance for our society and for integration path towards the Union. The Ambassador Thimonier expressed his readiness to strengthen the presence of French institutions in Montenegro, especially in anticipation of the France presidency of the Council of the EU in 2022.
