The Montenegrin Pan-European Union (MPEU) will organize the International Conference “For Europe: Communicating European Integration between EU Member States and Enlargement Countries” on Saturday, 22 September 2018, beginning at 9:15 pm, at the Hotel Palace in Zagreb. The conference is supported by the EU, through the Jean Monnet Action project.

• Gordana ĐUROVIĆ, President of the Montenegrin Pan-European Union
After introductory presentations, on the first panel will be discussed on European values and Europeanization of South-Eastern Europe:
• Tonino PICULA, Croatian representative to the European Parliament
• Adrijan VUKSANOVIĆ, Member of the Montenegrin Parliament, Chair of the Committee for European Integration and Vice-President of the MPEU
• Pavo BARIŠIĆ, Secretary General of the International Pan-European Union
• Franjo TOPIC, Member of the Presidency of the International Pan-European Union and Rainhard KLOUCEK, Secretary General of PEU Austria
On the second panel, there will be discussion on the regional challenges on the path towards membership in the European Union:
• Bernd POSSELT, President of PEU Germany
• Mislav JEŽIĆ, President of PEU Croatia
• Dejan HRIBAR, Secretary General of PEU Slovenia
• Haris CUTAHIJA, Acting President of PEU of Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Gordana ĐUROVIĆ, President of the PEU of Montenegro
The third panel, devoted to the dialogue among Youth within the Pan-European Union organizations regarding the 2025 perspective of enlargement:
• Đorđija BRAJOVIĆ, Secretary General of the Montenegrin Pan-European Union
• Pavao NUJIĆ, President of the Youth of Croatian Pan-European Union
• Dario PLAVČIĆ, President of the Youth of Pan-European Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Stefan HOBÖCK, Representative of the Youth Pan-European Union of Austria
• Milica Muhadinović, Secretary of the Youth of the Montenegrin Pan-European Union
At the end of the Conference, the Declaration of Pan-European organizations- participants will be adopted, with messages for a stronger Europe through better communication, for the full implementation of the Priority Agenda from Summit in Sofia, for Europe that protects, empowers and defends, for more intensive EU engagement in the region and for a more stable and integrated region with a perspective of EU membership.
