Youth of the Montenegrin Pan-European Union, in cooperation with EU Info Center, had the opportunity to host Ambassador of Austria in Montenegro, H.E. Anna Jankovic, who spoke at the fifth round of talks on the subject of European integration with diplomatic representatives of European countries, on the occasion of the forthcoming Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in July 2018.
From Sunday 1 July, for the third time, Austria will chair on the Council of the European Union. Austrian Ambassador to Montenegro Ana Jankovic, during the panel discussion "Talks with Ambassadors", organized by the Montenegrin Pan-European Union and the EUIC, spoke about the priorities of the Austrian presidency.
H.E. Ambassador Jankovic explained that in the next six-month period the European Union will face two main challenges: Brexit and negotiations for the multi-annual financial framework.
The motto of the Austrian presidency is: "Europe that protects", which will concern protection in the area of: migration, digitization, competitiveness and stability in the environment.
